perfectly situated near temples and lovely parks for exploration
I appreciated the very nice position just a less than 5-minute walk from Wat Phra Singh and the beautiful Buak Hard Public Park were good. The friendly staff and spacious rooms really enhanced my experience.

Great hotel. Nice modern take on traditional Thai feel. Staff were fantastic. Room very clean, good value for money for the most part. Great aesthetics.
Breakfast could have had more variety and healthy options. Bed was very hard but they often are I guess in mid level hotels.

great stay with minor room issues
The Supreme Beautiful Room with balcony offered excellent space and a tranquil view of the garden. The food at the hotel was surprisingly good. The staff displayed really good friendliness and efficiency .

The staff were courteous, frinedly, efficient and helpful.
My wife and I had dinner at The Canal restaurant on our first night. The meals were artistically presented but my steak contained gristle and there was a paucity of vegetables. The Pachit Coffee House, just round the corner and less than 200 meters from The Rim, gave us meals of similar proportions, somewhat better quality and at less than half the price, so we dined there in the evenings. The breakfasts at The Canal, however, were excellent.

Nice small hotel resort in the middle of Chiang Mai, in a typical traditional Thai atmosphere. Staff was dressed in traditional outfits which completed the whole experience.
The gym was a joke, so don't expect to maintain your physical condition unless you do 300 laps in the pool every day.

The Rim, is a very lovely small boutique Hotel, with a big touch of Luxury. The staff is very friendly, the standard rooms are spacious and the Bathrooms come with daylight. Breakfast was very nice, the juices have been fresh, the choices on the buffet have been little, but of high quality and the hot-dishes come a la carte. All over all; A great place to stay!

Live in this little hotel if you are in Ching Mai!!!!!! The staff were soooo friendly and the room was very very comfortable!!! You'll never find such a good hotel anywhere in Asia. (Since I travelled a lot in Asia, I'm 100% sure about it) If you go to Chiang Mai for holiday and you want to have a relaxed and quite one, live here is the greatest and most sensible choice!!!
Well, maybe the only defect of this hotel is that their room attendants are too hard-working. Although they didn't change the towels, sheets, ect. everyday according to the notes we leave, they make up your bed and clean the room two or three times a day!!! But don't worry about losing anything. We happened to leave one camera, one laptop in the room and nobody touched them.

would like to come again
Spent 5 nights in a Grand Beautiful Room with a balcony. Room was super spacious and included a comfy bed, a private bathroom, bathrobes, and free snacks in the minibar. The outdoor swimming pool was refreshing, even if a bit chilly. Liked the relaxing vibes and attentive staff. Breakfast had a great variety every morning, including local dishes and fresh fruit.

I travel frequently and stay at many hotels. This hotel has surpassed all others in every respect. The service from the hotel staff is nothing short of phenominal. Its a beautiful hotel in a good location with great atmosphere and amasing staff. It is currently on the top of my list of best hotel experiences.
The ahower water temp seemed to be either too hot or too cold with no way to adjust but this was insignificant

Amazing in every way, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Great location for the Airport and Markets. Lovely boutique feel and wonderful pool. The hotel is only 7 months old but has original "Lanna" architecture and is very pleasing on the eye. Very clean, good breakfast and great showers. A must for anyone young or old. Thank you to all the Rim staff for making our stay so enjoyable, room 221
